YOUR BOWEN THERAPIST is
David (Dave) Burnett.
I came to Bowen therapy by a
somewhat circuitous route. Like many though, my
initial cursory interest in Bowen became a desire to learn and
practice when I saw the tangible and measurable results of
Bowen, through first-hand experience. In my
particular instance Bowen's effect was life changing and
potentially even life saving.
I researched Bowen Therapy
extensively and explored many options before deciding to
undertake training with Gene Dobkin.
Gene, a Bowen practitioner and
instructor for more than a dozen years, has been exposed to the
very best of Bowen and taught numerous classes here in the US
and throughout the world. He has taught several
Bowen techniques including the original. He brings a
wealth of knowledge and experience to his training and I feel
fortunate and blessed to have benefited from his guidance.
Over time my specialty has
developed into assisting the elderly and I have been drawn here
to Southern California's, Inland Empire. I find many of
our elderly, needlessly suffer from pain and illness and the
side effects of medication. I am often exasperated
by the needless suffering our elderly are forced to endure.
While I treat all
presentations, I have found that I have developed a special
interest in:
- All conditions of the
elderly - particularly structural (back, hips, pelvis,
legs);
- Fibromyalgia, Chronic
Fatigue and Chronic Pain
- TMJ and jaw pain;
- Carpel Tunnel;
- Asthma, especially childhood
asthma;
My experience has been that
Bowen Therapy can safely make a positive difference in relieving
pain and improving quality of life, not just in the elderly, but
in any age group. I have experience of many
illnesses and conditions responding quickly and positively to
