BOWEN THERAPY practice centers on healing the whole body in its totality. Bowen is a cross-fiber, gently manipulative (muscle-rolling) technique that initiates an immediate and powerful healing influence on the body. Physical changes take place and structural irregularities often resolve right on the table without forceful manipulation or adjustment. The body simply “corrects” itself.
SCENAR THERAPY uses a sophisticated, non-invasive, battery operated, hand-held bio-feedback device. SCENAR utilizes electro-therapy activation to stimulate chemical reactions in the Central Nervous System (CNS). SCENAR ‘interacts’ with the body, in real time, dynamically adjusting its output in response to the body’s evolving reactions and stimulates innate healing processes.
BOWEN THERAPY is the most efficient and successful ‘structural integrator’ in body work. By straightening and aligning the body's underlying structure, Bowen helps create a foundation for balance and normal movement functions. In addition, Bowen effectively works the extremities - wrists, hands, ankles, and feet.
BOWEN THERAPY is a whole body technique, typically performed over clothing. Although there are no specific relaxation movements, most participants experience a deep sense of relaxation during and after a treatment. Bowen works in harmony with the body’s restorative and innate healing processes and doesn’t impose or force change. There are no adjustments or structural manipulations similar to those found in chiropractic or osteopathic techniques.
